GDPR and Think Driving School

1. Think Driver Training LTD is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation rules

2. Think Driver Training LTD  is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller

3. Any customer details sent to us via this website, our email accounts or via our phone systems are only used only to contact you to arrange the services we offer. We don't sell or use your information for any other purpose.

4. Your contact details will be sent to a self employed Think driving instructor to contact you to arrange lessons. If they cant help you they may send your details to another self employed Think driving instructor who can.

5. Customer details are only kept for unto 12 months of initial contact or if asked to be deleted. We keep the information for unto 12 months as the average person takes between 6 & 9 moths to learn from scratch. ( in some case if you are using our services for longer than 12 moths we may keep the details until you have finished using our services).

6. Some of our cars have dash cams. These are used just in case an accident happens while it is being used. Dash cams are always outward facing (if not you will be told when you first get in the car). They don't record sound (if they do again you will be notified when you first get in the car). Any footage on these cameras generally are only saved for up to a week. On some occasions your driving instructor may like to keep a particular clip to help you and others learn. If so they will ask your permission first.

7. If you have any questions or concerns about the information we have about you or if at any point you would like us to delete any information we have on you please email us, we will endeavor to reply to your request ASAP (always within 1 month)

8. All Think Driving instructors are self employed, and keep there own records in their own ways. We as their franchisor we give advice on how they keep records. But they may vary in how they keep them. Please ask your driving instructor if you have any concerns about the way they store your personal data.

 

 

Customer Satisfaction

At "think" we care about our customers. If for what ever reason you are not happy with the service you get from your "think" instructor please discuss it with them, if you would like to speak to the proprietors of "think" please call the number on the contact page and ask to speak to Ian Weir or Douglas Edwards. We will do all we can to resolve your queries.
