Under 17 driving

At Think driving school we have been lucky enough to secure the site at Dunsfold Aerodrome to offer “off road” driving tuition to under 17’s.
You may be recognise the site at Dunsfold as BBC 1’s Top Gear test track.

We at Think Driving School offer a relaxed 2 hour driving experience for anyone aged over 14.

Whether you are eager to get behind the wheel or if you would simply like to gain a bit of experience before starting lessons “on road” we are able to help.

Your driving experience will allow you to practice driving in a Manual car with Dual Controls for safety.

You will learn how to move off and stop, change gears, travel at a speed up to 30mph, if time allows then we can practice basic junctions, steering practice and possibly even a reversing exercise.

The site around Dunsfold Aerodrome although consider to be “off road” has real roads with road markings and also other vehicles. That said the practicing area is usually very quiet and is great for easing you into the driving seat quietly and safely.
The cost of our under 17 driving experience is £129 for 2 Hours

Entry to Dunsfold Aerodrome is via the security gate on Stovolds Hill and not via Dunsfold road / The Three Compasses public house (This is Emergency service access only).
